One time when Rob stuffed a chic...We love chicken. One time when Rob stuffed a chicken with apple slices, onion, and celery and cooked it on the barbecue, I boiled the bones that remained. I threw in the extra apple and vegetable pieces that were left. It made an "apple and chicken" broth that tasted good in a different way than normal chicken broth. My husband is resistant to bean sprout...Great list! My husband is resistant to bean sprouts so I sub thinly sliced cabbage which I stir fry with the other veggies.<br /><br /> Also, chicken and rice or noodles. I boil a whole chicken with chopped onions, celery and carrots. Remove the skin and bones and add chunked chicken back to the broth then cook rice or noodles in the broth. I also do creamed chicken with the same base by thickening some of the broth into gravy with flour.
