I look forward every year to our visit to N.Carolina to visit 5 of mine. Miss them terribly. I have a granddaughter that lives with us now and it is hard not to spoil her a little! It is wonderful to think of being in heaven some day...I'm so looking forward to seeing my family that has gone on before me. Amazing that it is so simple... we try so often to make things harder than they are. I'm looking forward to reading more of your chats!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06120446690878795217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6959918163454225829.post-29964897548644462572014-11-13T02:36:16.030-05:002014-11-13T02:36:16.030-05:00Of course there is marraige...and families...in He...Of course there is marraige...and families...in Heaven. How would it be Heaven without our loved ones? That is a very basic teaching of my church, and I am so thankful for that. I look forward to reuniting with family members who have passed on, and being with my current family members again some day, after we have all passed on. That makes Heaven even more appealing to me.

I am glad you had such a good visit with your family. Being a grandma is the best thing in the world, isn't it?Vicki in UThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11100538992180108902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6959918163454225829.post-69959842507856728112014-11-13T00:03:13.584-05:002014-11-13T00:03:13.584-05:00The longer I live the more I realize the many thin... The longer I live the more I realize the many things I have done in life that were totally wrong. It is hard to think I will probably remember more. :( I am not at all trying to think of things ..they just come to memory off and on. No one is perfect except the Son and His Father. Where would we be without them? No where.
It is so great you are getting to be with family more often! I think we have a genuine need to be together. To keep the connection to share the love.
You might now have done things you listed to do this year but according to what I read this year you did a lot anyway! :-) Thank you for sharing your faith message. Yes at times we have no thought of sharing at that time,.. but the prompting is there and someone probably will also be there to read it. Hew knows that and has planned it that way! :-) You sewed the seed.
I so miss the changing of the seasons as the trees get dressed in such beautiful colors! We have trees that turn here but so little compared to what they do at home. The sky is always a changing wondrous piece of art of total joy and beauty! The nature He has given us can't be prettier can it. But oh those glorious fall trees!!! Wow! Spectacular!! Glad you shared.

I made fruitcake today. Most of this batch goes to a friend in his 90s. It was his wife's recipe. She is home with Jesus now, but every Thanksgiving she would start making fruitcake for them to enjoy and also to share with others. After my friend died, I didn't want her hubby to miss out on his fruitcake, so I started making it every year. She was a wonderful friend to me, so I ate it to be polite at first, but now we love it. So I'll be making a few more batches for us and to share with other friends who love it too.

We were gone for a few days so today was a catch up day. I enjoyed 4 of your posts this evening. Thank you for sharing. PamAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
