Interview at Life With Dee

Hi all.  I'm still busy with my grandson at his home in south Georgia, but this weekend while I was at home, I took time to answer a few interview questions.  I've mentioned Deanna Piercy's site before and shared some of her archived articles and posts with you all in the Weekend Reading section over this past fall.

Here's the link to the interview if you'd care to stop by Dee's page and read it:

Isaac update: He's off oxygen, off the feeding tube and passed his car seat test with flying colors. He is not choosy between bottle or breast and eats heartily from both.   I expect this weekend will see that little fellow at home settling in with his family.

Josh is doing his best to remain cheerful but had a bad afternoon yesterday.  He finally just managed to sob out "I NEED my mommy!"  I texted Bess and asked her to call.  He'll be surprised in the morning when he gets up to find they are home temporarily because they NEED him, too.  Then we'll pull up our big boy pants and do a bit more of the stoic two year old stint, bless his little self.

Awww sweet little Josh! What a good little guy. He's lucky to have a grandmother like you.

I'm so happy to hear baby Isaac is doing so well.

Loved your last post, especially the description of your welcome home. I could almost see Maddie dance-walking in front of you. I like to call it the million dollar greeting (because it makes me feel like a million dollars when our pets greet us in a similar way haha) ...and the fresh coffee and set table John had waiting for you was so very thoughtful.

Hope life gets settled perfectly in its new rhythms for you all.

Love and prayers,
Tracey

P.S. Just finished reading your lovely interview with Deanna and wanted to say thank you for your very, very kind comments. My only response is "right back at you" (as my kids say)!
You are a blessing in so many ways my friend. XoX Tracey

Oh I am so glad that baby Isaac is improving! I'm sure he will be home soon.
I'm sure it has been a rough few weeks, but i know you were a blessing to your family taking care of Josh.

Enjoyed reading your interview too.

Saw the latest update on the little family, and sweet little Josh on Facebook. I read your interview with Dee. Very nice. My son lived in Switzerland for 7 years and visited Paris often so i forward many of her pictures to him. I have been a follower of yours since Penny. I have "read" Katies growing up years and now she is a mom. Sam and Bess falling in love and now two boys. Amies move so far away and have wished for you so many times that somehow, sometime soon you could reunite. And now you and John are considering retirement. As they say, time flies! Gramma D
