I've just reviewed last week's to do list and found I missed only a portion of one item. The front porch got cleaned off but not the patio or back porch. Then I went to review February's plans as a whole and realized that I am okay on that list. I haven't by any means completed all the jobs and things I set myself, I completely missed out on half of the family getting even a card for Valentine's Day, but I've two weeks to go in this month and should be able to manage to hit hard at that remaining list.
I have decided to extend the Pantry/Freezer challenge another week, simply because I was digging int he freezer and came across more meat that really needs to be used up. I'm sure there are things in the pantry I should think about using as well...So I may end up planning meals mostly from the pantry/freezer these last two weeks. I've saved no money but I'm not eating anything but the fresh produce, eggs and dairy we have bought. The budget has been mostly allocated to restocking the supplies of meat and empty spots in the pantry. I'm good with this usage of the funds.
Onward to planning my week!
1. Mail off the last birthday card.
2. Go to Sam's Club...maybe.
3. Clean off the patio.
4. Deep clean the guest room.
5. Figure out this sour dough bread thing. This week is dedicated to growing my starter.
6. Try to visit Mama one day this week.
7. Take Gramma's Fried Chicken to Katie's this Sunday.
8. Clean up my closet.
I'll stop right there. I do find that about 8 tasks is a good number of 'extra' things to try and accomplish during a week. Any more than that is overwhelming.
