Meal Plan for Second Week of March

 



I will need to go buy some produce this week for sure.  I'm down to some frozen peas and canned green beans for the bulk of my vegetables at present.  However, that will have to suffice.

This week I'll share my plan for breakfasts and lunches.  

Breakfasts:

Oatmeal x 3.  With apples and pecans, with blueberries and walnuts, with strawberries.  I have fresh apples, frozen berries.

Sourdough English Muffin breakfast sandwich.

Eggs and hash browns.  Fruit salad (apple, orange, frozen berries).

Turkey and cream cheese bagel. (I'll have half a bagel)

Yogurt, granola sprinkles, orange segments.

Lunches:  

Pizza, Salad

Grinder Salad (ham, onions, shredded mozzarella, pepperoncini, lettuce, tomatoes if I've shopped for groceries and maybe cucumbers)

Chicken Salad plate.  I made this on Friday.  I had baked a whole chicken earlier in the week.  It was the toughest old bird you can imagine and didn't get any better with further baking.  I ended up putting it in the stock pot and cooking it for several hours just in order to make it tender enough to remove any meat from the bones.

Leftover pizza, salad

Low Carb Chicken wrap, Baked Chips.  Bacon, Chicken strips, lettuce, shredded cheese, Ranch dressing in low carb tortilla.

Broiled Burger, Oven Fries.  I might use a low carb wrap as bread or just skip it.  I'm leaning towards skipping at present.  I hope by this point to have some tomatoes...

Omelet, Asparagus, cherry tomatoes (if I've gone to the grocery)

Suppers:

Ribs, Slaw, baked Potato half

Broiled Chicken, Green Peas, Rice Pilaf

Chicken Pot Pie, Beets, Pear Salad.  Using the chicken meat and some broth from last week's stew pot.

Meatloaf, Cauliflower au gratin, Beans.  Leftover meatloaf from Friday.

BBq'd Chicken (Leftover from earlier this week), Potato Salad, Slaw

Chicken Pot Pie, Broccoli, Oranges.  Leftovers again.  I'm going to try to utilize leftovers more often to ease my cooking time.

Broiled Burgers (leftovers), Pan Roasted Vegetables, Rice Pilaf (leftovers)

Snacks:

Trail Mix (semi-sweet chocolate chips, cranberries, nuts)

yogurt with granola and fruit

Dark Chocolate

Applesauce with cottage cheese
